TODAY

Good afternoon. You don’t need a long plan to get a good seafood stop in Apalachicola. Park once near the waterfront, walk a few blocks, and order at the counter.

Inside this issue: The short walk from the waterfront to Up the Creek.

THE FEATURE

πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ UP THE CREEK + A SHORT WATERFRONT WALK 🌊

A simple, low-key loop that pairs good food with an easy stroll along the Apalachicola waterfront.

3 PRACTICAL WAYS TO MAKE IT WORK:

  • Start at Up the Creek. Order at the window, grab a table outside, and take your time β€” no reservations needed.

  • Walk the short waterfront loop after. Head toward the riverfront for about 15–20 minutes round-trip. Flat, easy, and usually quiet.

  • Go late afternoon. You’ll catch better light, avoid the midday heat, and still have time to settle in before dinner.

──────── β—† ────────

Up the Creek Raw Bar sits a short walk from the waterfront at 313 Water Street, where Scipio Creek meets the river.

  • Open noon–8 p.m. Monday–Saturday (closed Sunday).

  • Order at the counter, then pick a seat on the deck.

  • Parking is usually close; you can also walk from the docks.

A short visit still works because the view is right there and you don’t need a reservation.
